Sunday was a little bit exciting, because when I returned from my run, the Easter Bunny had visited!
…I thought the Easter Bunny might have dementia, because he forgot to hide my candy, he just left it sitting out where I could see it.
We went to a fun Easter barbeque with relatives. I got to help hide Easter eggs for the kids. I was a little sad that I didn’t get to hunt for the Easter eggs, but I held my tears back.
When we got home from the barbeque, I discovered something amazing: The Easter Bunny doesn’t have dementia, he had hidden the best part of the treats he left me! (I didn’t see my Cadbury Bunny Eggs* hiding behind the other candy).
Oh, joy! My favorite!
I decided that Cadbury Bunny Eggs are not an essential part of a balanced diet, so guess what? I’m showing self control, and I get to eat one Cadbury Bunny Egg for every long run I complete.
Soooo…I can’t wait to run an 8-miler this weekend so that I can eat one of these babies!
Also, have you heard of this brilliant Easter s’more idea? (See the bottom of Ricole’s post). I know, insane and amazing looking! You know you live in a beautiful world when things like that exist!
*Explanation: I call Cadbury Creme Eggs “Cadbury Bunny Eggs.” I do it because of the commercials that were around when I was young, in which the Cadbury Bunny was known to lay Cadbury Cream Eggs.
Yum yum! Anyone else have great ideas about how to make Cadbury Bunny Eggs even more amazing?
